So I'm really not much of a tech guy and don't know exactly what I would need for a basic studio. I've been wanting to refine my guitar sound and record. Would a Line 6 Pod Studio UX1 even be the right interface to get?

So yeah, it would be cool if you could elaborate on any things that would be absolutely vital for a basic setup.

Hey,

these line 6 interfaces are cool but it does ultimately depend on what programs/plugins/computer your using to record.

you could pretty much pick up any pre-amp and plug it into a computer sound card whilst retaining the ability to record and manipulate tone.

what are you using RE computer and recording prog?

kewl!
