That's pretty cool matey. Walking process could use a bit of improvement, unless he's meant to have a limp? But otherwise not bad - and the art/backdrop a pretty cool.

You could make a series of that if you could get it up to speed.

I plan on eventually turning it into a series, but at the minute, I'm having to draw every cell, as when I tried the cutout style, setting the pivot points had an adverse affect, the limbs went all the way across the screen, rather than stay in place where I put them.

But, if I can get around that huge obsticle, and I've tried looking online for help with it, the time taken would be reduced massively.

2 new drawings. And yes, they do need refining a bit, but the structure is there, which was the plan. More will be done over the next few days, which I can post up, if the interest is there?

The final episode, when done, will be posted here first, just without my bad sounding voice anywhere near it haha.

I'm learning more and more as each stage goes along, and hoping, I might be able to hurry things along, as I may have found a solution to certain stages of animating. Fingers crossed.

We've made 2 decisions regarding the cartoon.

1 is a secret at this stage, and I may divulge more later on it.

2 is we are going to redo the side walk cycle, as looking back on it, it is shite and very robotic and unhuman.

After much swearing and shouting, the new side walk cycle is nearing completion.

After all this, I might have to use a different programme to do the cartoon in, as this software is too much of a pain in the arse to get right.

We'll see on that one though, as I think I know where it went wrong.

I'll post it up if there is any interest left in this.

I know it is incomplete, but it is a tester video for a different programme to do the cartoon in.

The video in the post above took 1.5 hours to complete. This one took 10 minutes.

Got all the reference material needed, so after I write some more of the book, it's been going too long now, I'll start drawing for the longship.

It'll take a while, but I have an idea to hopefully cut that down. See if you can guess what that idea is.

Had to print the reference material off, as it was on the tablet, but you know them and battery life.

Just need to find my staedler pencils, then it's all longships go.

Tried to scan the tracing paper image, and it went all full on black.

Look like I'll have to do it the olde fashion way.
