A setting for a war horn, like the one in Unas by Nile?

It's just I'm trying a few things musically wise for the cartoon as I have a bit of down time and I'm looking into getting a keyboard.

Aye for sure! If you can get your dabs on a second hand Korg Triton/Triton Rack unit there are loads of samples like the one in 'Unas' . I had a bit of an 'Imperial March' moment Laughing

with one of the samples the other day.

Alternatively there are plenty of midi controlled samples you can control via VST.

EDIT: Just had a butchers on fleabay and there is no way I can afford one of those. Any cheaper alternatives you know of B?

Ok

there is a massive stock of Yamaha PSR keyboards available out there. The slightly more expensive models have good quality samples to choose from for sure! They range from £50 second hand upward. I've used PSR models in the past and had no problems!

Alternatively you could just pick up a cheapy midi controller keyboard and use plugins in your PC. This is a good way to be really picky about what sound you want.

That more in my price range. Just have to get a few things sorted, then I'll sift through them all.

Long time, but I just picked up this for a song :-

Does your keys have.... SAM_0130-08112014071429u

I'm going to give it a try and see what happens.

Now, anyone know of any free vst's I can use? I'm after the horn sound from Unas, strings and piano. I've got a couple downloaded, but I trust you guys to steer me right.
