Good call Tommy.

Interesting to see Nile is continuing their support for the Mid-East Rebellions & all things Islamic.

The artifacts in the Middle East are clearly a full-blown insult to Allah. Very offensive. They are obstructing viewing of him, his own views of his works and everything. They are creating an instrusive obstruction.

Their's not enough room on those towns for artifacts and Allah.

Here is a quote from Karl on the video.

Quote :
"I would THINK - that a giant bold font disclaimer at the beginning of a video OUGHT to be sufficient for folks to get to the point ; but I guess not . It seems exasperatingly mindboggling to me that it is necessary to further clarify any of this - so I am reposting the dialogue from the press release right here : “Call to Destruction”  The inspiration for the song itself comes from news reports in 2012 – when radical Clerics were calling for the destruction of Egypt’s Pyramids. Most of the lyrics to “Call to Destruction” are actual direct quotes from the words of Abd al-Latif al-Mahmoud – whose eloquence and quote-ability are clearly second-to-none. While this lyric video is filled with many images of Violence and destruction of Historical artifacts culled from common everyday newsreel imagery , its message is to communicate the insanity and futility of war as a tragic result of the clash of ideologies. This video’s sole purpose is to bring attention to the wanton destruction of Artifacts in the middle east. None of the members of Nile in any way endorse any political or religious agenda with this video ; Nile as students of Egyptian History are concerned about the preservation of the cultures of all peoples of our Greater Global Community”."

Yep I saw the disclaimer and related posts, and I totally agree man. The glory and rigor of chivalrous battle as a means to ensure the safety of ones culture / country / beliefs is a most righteous and noble cause. Long live the U.S.A.

They (The Muslims in the video) presumably also saw some Westerners trying to take an interest in the artifacts recently, and realised their was an INCREASED / higher-priority need to get rid of the things asap! Those people will continue to successfully wipe out all the artifacts, and put a stop to such heathen idoltry and concepts from spreading and infecting their lives and culture. Phewh!

Strange indeed to see, and to see Nile of all bands supporting it!

I think the members of Nile should really grow some "balls" as they say and publically endorse the very specific form of political/religious ideology that they clearly sponsor behind closed doors - and in their music.

I'll stick this here instead of cluttering up the forum with video threads.

Thanks for that Tommy - good song and

interesting concept!

Where other bands seem to be failing, Nile seem to be getting better.

It is out. Listening now and I'll give it a good listen later when the football is on. Liking what I'm hearing though and good to see Mr Pete Hammoura back in the fold.

One downside. I'd have loved Chief to do some guest vocals, as Chief is my favourite vocalist and would have topped off the album nicely.
