| And now you, me and my buddy are currently doing a metal album.
This is just a taster of what we are currently doing. It is still a looooooooonnnnnnnggggg way before completion, as you can hear.
The intro is complete though, and has been for quite some time. This share isn't it though. Ben has heard it.

| Hey T, thanks for the update.
However, not to break the seasonal spirit but, long indeed. This was er... lacking to say the least. Lacking in certain ways that... it begs a question of whether their's been any Naughty Urchin elements at work?
Regardless it's a start, and the only way is up from the start. So I wish you continued luck with this project but, we believe you can do a lot better than this T ! Your synth work alone was much better so, hopefully future sounds are... better... evolved all round. Good luck!

| Thanks.
There is a Hel of a long way to go before it is complete. That was just the first step. That and I am still learning everything.
I might post the intro, as that is complete.

| Since the album is now scrapped, looking through some really old files, I came upon this https://soundcloud.com/user-505171998/spaceThis was done years ago and yes, it is a guitar playing. This was probably thee first tune we did. | |

| lol, not too sure what B is on about re dark law stuff but, hope my comments weren't entirely behind your choice to scrap those plans? Just cuz something gets a low rating 1st time... doesn't mean you should give up obviously. if you want to get good at guitar I think you will... with proper practice. That's a better quality sample Tommy although, still rather basic to say least. Guitar like most things has learning curves / phases. With some people if they shared such samples and someone was really blunt or negative, it might be safe to think they have no skill or chance of improving. But with some, should be safe to know they can improve. And I reckon you can. Put it this way, anyone who can draw like you should be able to master guitar + guitar recording to a good degree at least with proper practice, as your drawing skills demonstrate some strong skills I reckon. I think others will agree. So if you are not satisfied with your guitar skills Tommy, and don't think you can do much more than these basic samples... but you want to... and don't want receive mediocre reviews for future.... my best recommendation is finding a Guitar Tutor for 6-12months+ if you can afford one and get those basic skills drummed-in. Skills like keeping accurate tuning, how to re-tune fast, change strings fast, basic chords, basic gear, etc etc. I'm speaking from experience here (tutors helped me improve a fair deal). You can teach yourself a lot on guitar yourself obviously, and recording techniques can be shared fast online (I could share a few) but... only after you know a fair amount of basics, ... and it sounds like you are lacking a lot of basic fundamentals to help get you going. A tutor would really help you with that I reckon. Hope this helps | |

| I have never been a technical player to say the least.
Also, I can't put in the time at the moment to improve, as I am deep in the middle doing the cartoon, and improving on that front. It is slow going, but I have got an ace up my sleeve now to make the animation faster and better. Also, I have skills in using premiere pro now, which is helping a hel of a lot.
Maybe in time I can come back to the guitar thing, but not now.
