Rumblings of a new project.

It was a bit of a pain colouring them, you have to close even the slightest gap in the outlines, otherwise the bucket fill just won't do anything and it would take forever with the brush tool haha.

It's a good program, just a bit of a learning curve, but there are loads of tutorials online, both text and pictures and video, which I downloaded .

There is also a book about it, but it doesn't go into detail that the online tutorials tell you, but it may come in handy though down the line with effects and stuff.

How are you getting on with the program B?

Bit of a pain this one as I had to use two different images and combine them on the comp. The waist area were two different widths on the two separate drawings. I know I could have redone them in portrait mode on paper, but you know me and hands..

See if you can guess which of the two completed drawings I did first haha.

Took a trip to Hobbycraft to see if they had the drawing dogs book in, but unfortunately, they only had the cats one :boourns:, so it looks like dogs are on hold for the moment. I do have a drawing horses book somewhere here, my room is a sty haha, so I'll find that and practise horses instead, as all I could find on Google are quite small for dogs.

First attempt done. Going to have another go tonight, while Booncey watches his football, on DSF, so fuck you BT.

Anyway, I'd love some feedback.

And I know, the tail kinda went off the page haha.

As you can see, I think the head on the first horsey is better than the second horsey. Saying that, the rest looks better on the second horsey.

These definitely need wings!

I don't think there were winged horsey's in Norse religion. There is always the 8 legged Sleipnir though . Hmm.

The first attempt. As you can see, the second horsey's head is totally weird. I blame lack of sleep, with my head being like thunder at the minute, and the light headedness and dizzy spells.

I had good sound through the amp, running into the desktop, which is now downstairs as I had no room for it in ze bedroom. Unfortunately, the button from clean to overdrive has somehow dislodged and fallen into the amp haha.

HA Please tell me it's stuck on OVERDRIVE!

I'll have to get back to ya on that one haha.

After I've finished the painting, which will be a couple of days, I'll be getting back to the cartoon. I have a little idea rolling around in my head, better than the voices telling me to kill everyone, seriously, so look out for that soon.

Indeed there is. I'm on Olanzapine for it.

I'll get cracking on the inspirational painting tonight, or while MASK rips, as there is only a couple of things left to do with it, then I'll get this idea, and a little preview , done, then I'll post it for you all to see.

It's ace that you can take your condition and use it for something creative. I'd be interested in hearing more about it. I have a family member with Schizophrenia and always love talking to him on a good day.

You just have to get on with life and all the cards that you get dealt with.

And as I've always said, they do tell me to kill people, but I'd rather hurt myself first than others, even in the face of extreme provocation from around, but the only ones I'd hurt are those that have hurt me in the past and I count at least 30 people, so they best be afraid , but my psychiatrist knows about it and we are going through alternatives.

I gots these to do the backgrounds on for the cartoon, and yes I've tried to recreate things on the computer, but alas, I can't get the effects I want, even in a trial copy of painter 12.

I'm going to start the backgrounds tomorrow, sometime haha, and I have a little something planned that'll hopefully be cool. I'm not going to say much more than that right now, but I'll post it here first if it comes out fine .

Didn't start yesterday, for obvious reasons, yes, I kept it dark so no one would knock at the door, as there was fuck all for them.

I'll hopefully get to start back tonight or tomorrow at the latest.
