| Star Trek - D.S.9
Starts Monday from the beginning (season 1) @ 8pm on Freeview Channel 64 here, I think they call it CBS action.
Anyone else going to be watching?
I haven't seen it before so, I'm going to try and watch as much as possible, especially if it's good.

| I'll be dipping in and out, as I already have DS9 on DVD. Hoping they remaster them for bluray, like they've done with TNG, which I still have to get, but not at £160.
I won't spoil it for you, but it really takes off from series 3 onward and a lot of the stories beat even TNG.

| How is everyone getting on with DS9?
Now they are up to series 6, I can tell you that it really takes off from here on in.

Now they are up to series 6, I can tell you that it really takes off from here on in. I was forced to somewhat abandon DS9 due to the corruption of the powers _ _ . However it was not a giant loss as the first 1-2 whatever seasons I saw were ... how shall we put it ... odd and confuddled to say the least, and apparently more about "comedy" than any sort of realism or thought-provoking elements. That said, there was something to it that begun to be interesting but as I say, I had to abandon for now. I will however endeavour to try watch / or record season 6 if you believe it to be better.

| Series 6 is much better than the previous series'. Far Beyond the Stars is coming up soon, very good episode, dealing with race in 50's America.
The Dominion war really hots up too.
I will say this, the very last episode of DS9 is a bit of a let down, effects wise, as they reuse footage from Sacrifice of Angels, also coming up which if you like big fleet battles, is a good one to watch.

| Well, I must say it did not get off to a good start. The first episode I saw 'happened to have a lot of questionable material in it. So had to turn it off.
Hopefully the next episode will be better.

| So, what did you all think of the Defiant getting destroyed?
This is the ending arc of the series as it ends next Friday.
