Steroids. Steroids.

This is one very strange, unconventional & totally schizo-bot insane album.

It will take awhile to get a good feel for it I think (and to tolerate the inhumanly barbaric batterings), but personally I think it is one of the best Orbeth releases in years. Certainly it contains some of the best production & phrasing in recent times I think. And it goes without saying that it is ridiculously fast.

It is so fast at times, in all aspects, it's like Paul Gilbert or Buckethead decided to write an agoraphobic/pxcx style ultra-grind album, which as you can imagine would be the fastest, most insane shat ever heard or played by human hands. And that it is easily. Immediate and worthy trophy for that alone.

Too many cool parts to name at this stage but, I'll start with the Insanitaria solo, which is blindingly brilliant!
